## What a capture represents

A screenshot records what was visible at a particular moment. It is supporting context, not proof of all work performed between captures. A repeated view may reflect reading, a call or work in an unchanged window. Review the surrounding activity and ask about the task before drawing a conclusion.

## Capture settings

Administrators set minimum and maximum intervals, image quality and screenshot retention in Settings. These settings affect future capture behavior and storage. Lowering retention can make older captures eligible for deletion. Review the intended policy before saving a shorter period.

## Review a particular interval

Open Team activity, choose the employee and workday, then inspect the relevant time window. Check the date and timezone alongside the image. An available thumbnail does not establish that every neighboring minute has an image.

## If screenshots are missing

Check whether the employee was clocked in, on break, connected and running the tracker. Consider network issues, capture failures and retention. An attendance session can remain visible even when no current capture arrives. Do not resolve missing captures by assuming that force clock-in can start software on a disconnected computer.

## Retention is not a blanket eraser

The screenshot retention setting governs stored screenshots. Attendance records, diagnostic metadata, exports and backups have different lifecycles. For a deletion request, identify the data type and company workspace rather than assuming one setting removes every copy everywhere.
