Install, update and remove the Windows tracker

A practical guide to the StafflyTracker Windows installer, company setup, updates and uninstalling.

Before installing

Use Windows 10 or Windows 11 x64 and the installer supplied through your company workspace. A company code identifies the workspace; it is not a password. You still need your own work account. Installation is per Windows user and does not require changing another tracker’s files or removing another company’s software.

Install in your Windows account

Open StafflyTracker-Setup.exe, complete the wizard, then choose Open StafflyTracker. Enter the company code and confirm the company name. Sign in with your work email. The app installs beneath your local application-data folder and adds shortcuts. Close an existing StafflyTracker instance from its tray menu before reinstalling.

Startup and updates

After setup, StafflyTracker supports starting with Windows. The app checks its company update feed and can apply updates. A company may set an update deadline. Keep the computer online and review any error shown by the app. The Windows Installed apps version is updated after a successful self-update.

Current release limitations

Version 3.1.1 is available as an installer and update archive. The installer is not yet signed with a trusted Authenticode certificate, so Windows may show a publisher warning. Ask your administrator to verify the download; do not disable device security to make it run. Native Windows installation, startup and uninstall smoke testing remains a release-validation item.

Remove the program

Close StafflyTracker from the tray menu, then use Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps → StafflyTracker → Uninstall. Removal deletes program files, shortcuts and its startup entry. Local configuration and queued records are retained for recovery or reinstallation; uninstalling the program does not delete records already held in the company workspace.
